UNSMIL welcomes the arrival of HOR members to Tobruk for vote on referendum law

The United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) on Monday welcomed the arrival of House of Representatives (HOR) to the city of Tobruk, in preparation for the upcoming session of the House to vote on the referendum law.

On its official page, the UNSMIL said it was following “closely” with the international community “this democratic process to ensure a free and fair electoral process on the referendum law for the future and peace of Libya.”

A number of members of the House of Representatives arrived on Sunday to Tobruk in preparation for the meeting of the House of Representatives today to pass the referendum law on the Constitution.
