Turkish Tika sends 57 tons of food aid to displaced people in the south

The Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (Tika) handed over 57 tons of food aid to the Government of National Accord (GNA) Libyan Fund for Aid and Development, bringing it for displaced families in Sabha and Ubari.

The Turkish embassy in Tripoli said in a statement on Saturday, nearly 1,500 food baskets were handed over to the fund to be distributed in the south to orphans and people in need.

Last March, the Turkish Agency for Cooperation and Coordination distributed 7 tons of food to 200 displaced people in the Hai Al-Andalus camp in Tripoli, in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Affairs.
