Turkish presidency: Egypt, the UAE, and Russia are ignoring UN resolutions with their support for Hifter, and Turkey is in the battlefield now.

Head of the Turkish Presidency Communication Department, Fakhruddin Alton, said on Saturday that Egypt, Russia and the UAE ignore the UN resolutions by supporting Hifter in Libya, stressing that “Turkey is now in the field through its most effective foreign policy.”

Alton added, in an article published by Arabi 21, that Turkey, by signing the Memorandum of Understanding with the internationally recognized government of reconciliation, showed that it would not allow the imposition of the “fait accompli” in the eastern Mediterranean, and that it is an important player in the region that could not be overlooked.

It is worth noting that the Turkish parliament approved, on Saturday, the memorandum of security and military cooperation with Libya.
