Turkey: Haftar and his supporters must be stopped, and NATO should play a role in that.

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavoyuzoglu stressed the need to stop Haftar and his supporters from targeting civilians in the next stage, and NATO should play an important role in this regard.

Çavoyuzoglu added, in press statements, on Friday, that Haftar and his supporters have become more aggressive by launching attacks targeting civilians, after they are losing their superiority on the ground.

Çavoyuzoglu affirmed that Turkey believes that the only solution in Libya is the political solution, for this purpose it seeks to achieve a cease-fire there.

It is worth noting that the NATO Secretary “NATO” “Jens Stoltenberg” confirmed, Thursday, the alliance’s support for the government of reconciliation and its inequality between them and the militias of Haftar.
