Tunisia stresses the need to adopt dialogue and consensus in Libya

Tunisian Foreign Minister, Khemaies Jhinaoui reiterated Tunisia’s keenness on the  security and stability of Libya and the safety of its citizens,  stressing the necessity of adopting dialogue and consensus to advance the comprehensive political settlement process under the auspices of the  United Nations.

Jhinaoui confirmed during a telephone conversation with the Government of National Accord (GNA) Minister of Foreign  Affairs, Mohamed Al-Sayala on Thursday that Tunisia is following the serious developments in the capital Tripoli and regrets the loss of  victims.

The southern areas of the capital Tripoli witnessed clashes for days now between armed brigades, which resulted in the  deaths of a number of dead and wounded, especially civilians, and the  displacement of residents of these areas.
