Tripoli… Signing The Cease-Fire Agreement

The High Council of Reconciliation, on Monday, signed a cease-fire agreement in the south of the capital, between the Tripoli’s Protection Force and the 7th Brigade, under the patronage of a delegation from the Social Council of Werfalla tribes.

The agreement, which will be signed later by the Elders of Tarhona, calls for the withdrawal of all weapons at least 15 km from the administrative borders of each area, the opening of roads, the removal of all barriers and the exchange of prisoners, detainees and bodies. between the two sides.

The agreement confirmed that the security directorates within the conflict would secure the roads and areas of the conflict, stressing that no member of the directorates shall be harmed and the fair settlement of Displaced File and ensuring their return to their families.

The terms of the agreement also included the repudiation of criminals and forming security coordination committees for the families, displaced persons and missing persons.

The clashes that took place in southern Tripoli killed 16 people and wounded 65 others with the displacement of a large number of families from area of clashes.
