The UN mission in Libya expressed its regret over the recent developments and the worsening military escalation in the country, by exchanging betrayal and endangering the unity of Libya.
And the mission stressed in a statement issued on Thursday, published on its official page on the social networking site “Facebook” , the inevitability of a political solution to the crisis in Libya.
The mission stressed that it is moving ahead in its relentless effort to restore the fractured international stance towards Libya, and to urge the Libyans to return to the negotiating table in order to prevent more blood shed, stop the fighting, and avoid further harm to safe civilians, according to the text of the statement.
