The Syrian interim government denies sending any Free Syrian Army fighters to Libya.

The Ministry of Defense in the Syrian interim government denied, categorically on Sunday, , that any of its forces and military formations were sent to Libya.

A spokesman for the opposition “Syrian Army” Youssef Hammoud, in a statement to the Italian “Aki” agency, confirmed the incorrectness of what is being circulated about the arrival of Syrian fighters in Libya in response to the Turkish request, noting that their priority in the “Syrian National Army” is to protect Syrians from the regime and its Russian and Iranians supporters , according to him.

Previously the media office of the President of the Presidential Council, Fayez Asarraj, had denied the authenticity of the recordings circulated in the social media that show Syrian fighters in one of the camps, claiming that they were in Libya, noting that these recordings were filmed in the Syrian city of Idlib, vowing to prosecution whoever publishes these fabrications, according to a statement of the office.
