The Supreme Judicial Committee Of The State Is Moving Towards Rejecting The Amendment Of HOR To The Article II

A member of the Legal Committee of the Supreme Council of State Adel Karmous, on Monday, anticipated the rejection of the committee to amend Article II of the 11th constitutional declaration by the House of Representatives (HOR).

In a press statement, Karmous said that the reason for rejecting the amendment was his disagreement upon the political agreement, pointing out that the article was not presented during the voting session in the House of Representatives, which is contrary to the minutes of the meeting.

The House of Representatives ratified last Monday, the tenth and eleventh amendment to the constitutional declaration and the fortification of Article VI law of the referendum on the Constitution.
