The deputies of Tobruk who betrayed the covenant of the people and went back on their oath they swore during their inauguration – adhered to the rule of the military last April after the leader of the Al-Karama militia announced aggression against Tripoli, while 52 deputies announced after their arrival in Tripoli, in a statement on May 2, 2019, that they aligned themselves with the legitimacy of the state Represented by the GNA, stressing their rejection of the war that was waged against Tripoli.
Representatives of Tripoli voted, on May 5, 2019, to choose MP Al-Sadiq Al-Kihaili as chairman of Parliament instead of chairman Aqeela Saleh who refused to leave the Dome of the Tobruk Parliament and some of the deputies who emphasized, in their illegal sessions with incomplete quorum, support the aggression against Tripoli and the bombing of Maitiqa airport, with the supported Haftar aircrafts and its missiles, which destroyed infrastructure, killed and wounded a number of civilians.
Aqeela Saleh, who did not give up his position and has been attached to a chair for 6 years – he and his supporters from the parliament lost his legitimacy after the election of the parliament in Tripoli of Al-kihaili as his replacement. Al-kihaili handed it over a few months later the presidency to MP Hamouda Siala as his successor, in a peaceful democratic appearance after his election in the presence of Representatives in Tripoli.
Representatives of Tobruk, whose hands are stained with the blood of crimes of Haftar against civilians and those who reject a political solution and supporters of Haftar’s military rule – have begun to declare on media platforms to confirm their support for the political solution and that it is the only solution in the whole country, forgetting their refusal to any political dialogue since the beginning of the aggression.with the GNA army continueous addvance would we see their absolute support for the reconciliation government as the sole representative of the country ?!
