The Minister of Education of Al-Wefaq Government, Osman Abdul Jalil said that about 12,357 students were enrolled according to their wishes in the Libyan universities and colleges for the academic year 2018 – 2019.
On the ministry’s official page on Monday, Jalil added that the placement mechanism was based on the capacity of universities and colleges in different cities, in addition to the student’s desire, either through the registration system launched by the ministry or the average grade of the student on subjects related to the specialization.
The minister explained that there are two rounds of placement, the first was the total number of “14.657” students, “12,357, ” of which were placed and 2300 students remained to be placed in the second round, which will start on 3 November.
The Minister of Education Osman Abdul Jalil, last Sunday, said that he will announce on the results of the placement of high school students at different colleges in Libyan universities on Monday.
