The head of the medical supply service, Mahmoud Bogzeil, denied rumors that the recently received anti-corona virus vaccine will expire soon.
Bogzeil confirmed – according to the official page of the center Saturday, that the vaccine is safe and its validity is not close as it was rumored, pointing out that no media has been informed about the vaccine, and that all the statements are published on the page of the center.
The head of the agency revealed that the Ministry of Health continues to supply and give the vaccine to citizens, according to the plan approved by the National Center for Disease Control.
On Saturday, the National Center for Disease Control officially launched the national vaccination campaign against the Corona virus at the center’s branch in the Souq Al Jumaa.
It is worth noting that the Director of the Media Office of the Food and Drug Control Center, Muhammad Al-Zayyat, told Arraed Saturday that the Russian vaccine shipment “Sputnik” was not rejected, but rather is suspended until the bulletin on how to operate it arrives in the English language.
