
The Defense and National Security Committee of the House of Representatives in Tripoli on Sunday discussed with the Chief of the General Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Muhammad al-Mahdi, the security agreement concluded with Turkey, and the need to support the Libyan Air Force and air and naval defenses.
The committee discussed, according to the official page of the HOR, the field positions in the fighting axes and mechanisms for integrating the supporting forces and seeking to fully protect the maritime and land borders of the country of Libya.
It is worth noting that the President of the GNA, Fayez asarraj, signed a security and maritime agreement with the Turkish government last November.
