The dignitaries of the western region agree to file suits against those who demanded Egyptian intervention.

Representatives of notables and elders of the Coast, the mountain, Greater Tripoli and the central region agreed to file lawsuits against citizens who claimed to represent the Libyan tribes, who went to Egypt demanding intervention and confronting the Libyan people.

In their statement after their meeting in Tarhuna, on Friday, the notables affirmed the preparation of a memorandum to be submitted to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to file cases before the International Security Council, the International Court of Justice, and all relevant international institutions against the Egyptian decision to allow the Egyptian forces to occupy the territory of Libya, and against countries supporting the aggression Including “Saudi Arabia, France, Russia, the Emirates, Jordan,” considering the intervention a violation of all laws defending the national sovereignty of states.

The dignitaries stressed the need to prove the rights of the people of Tarhuna affected by “Alkanyat” criminals, and their supporters, demanding the concerned authorities through the governing council of Tarhuna municipality to take all measures, including domestic and international litigation to demand retribution from criminals, and all the people of Libya; to know the truth according to their expression.

It is worth noting that on the 17th of July, a delegation that included those claiming to be sheikhs and notables of the Libyan tribes authorized the Egyptian President Abdelfattah Alsisi to intervene in Libya.
