Spokesman of the Supreme Committee for Crisis and Response Management to confront the Corona Virus in Misurata, Dr. “Fathi Al-Zawawi”, announced changes in the announced response plan, which was the opening of two clinics, one psychiatric and one for early detection of internal diseases.
For his part, Chairman of the Scientific Committee of the Supreme Committee, Dr. Mohamed Trainah, called for the continuation of the precautionary measures represented in stressing the required distances between people, ensuring the cleanliness of the hands and organizing entry to the large markets.
“Trainah” stated that to announce the healing of a case infected with the Corona virus, requires the result of two negative analyzes and that they are separated by at least 24 hours, adding that they called for cases of similar recovery to be necessary to stay in their homes for another week.
“Trainah” continued, that their committee realizes the right of Libyans stranded abroad to return to their countries, to be accompanied by measures that prevent the transmission of infection to citizens, explaining that the Libyans abroad are divided into two categories, the first includes healthy people under the age of 60, and the second is for people with health problems .
The Chairman of the Scientific Committee indicated that their committee recommends the evacuation of the first category by sea, and the transfer of the second category by flights, provided that each city adheres to the quarantine for those arriving for 14 days, stressing that keeping the Libyans abroad burden the state.
It is worth noting that the Corona Virus Management and Response Committee in Misurata Municipality was established on March 21 by decision of the mayor of Misurata Municipality No. 10 of 2020.
