Tabu tribe say Haftar, GNA and UNSMIL responsible of events in the south

The Tabu tribe Elders council in Sabha member, Ahmed Azi blamed on Saturday the events in the southern region for what he described as the “negative role” of Haftar, the Government of National Accord (GNA), and the United Nation Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL).

Azi told ArraedLg, a number of families in areas of the south condemned in demonstrations what he called “the bombing of neighborhoods in the south,” adding that what he called ” shelling” on the cities of Murzuk, Om Al-Aranib, Qatrun, Kufra and Rebian , led to “deaths and injuries among civilians.”

The southern region has been witnessing armed clashes between the tribes of Tabu, and Awlad Sulieman.
