On Wednesday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Accord , Muhammad Siala, discussed with the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister, Mikhail Bogdanov, ways to settle the Libyan crisis.
According to a statement by the Russian Foreign Ministry reported by “Sputnik” news agency, Siala and Bogdanov exchanged views on the current situation in Libya, focusing on the rapid settlement of the Libyan crisis, and the possibility of a mutually beneficial joint cooperation.
The Russian side stressed the importance of ensuring a comprehensive Libyan dialogue, stressing the sovereignty and unity of Libya, in accordance with the Resolutions of the Berlin International Conference and Security Council Resolution No. 2510, according to “Sputnik.”
It is worth noting that Russia is accused, according to local, international and UN reports, of spreading thousands of “Wagner” mercenaries in Libya.
