Foreign Minister Mohamed Sayyala affirmed on Monday, the right of the GNA, as it is the legitimate government of the country, to conclude understandings with whomever it wishes.
During his meeting with the Dutch ambassador to Libya, Lars Tommers in Tripoli, Sayyala reiterated the consistency of the two memorandums of understanding signed between Libya and Turkey with international law, and doesn’t touch the sovereignty of any country, expressing Libya’s desire to communicate with all countries and open to them to conclude such understandings.
The meeting discussed, according to the official page of the Ministry, the ongoing preparations for the Berlin Conference and the international efforts concerning it.
It is worth noting that the memorandums of understanding between Libya and Turkey were signed on the 27th of November in the Turkish capital.
