Sayyala: Our agreement with Turkey is not an infringement of sovereignty and we warn against compromising the legitimacy of the GNA.

Foreign Minister Mohamed Sayyala warned Tuesday that some parties are seeking to undermine the legitimacy of the GNA,for the simple reason it is the legitimate government according to the Security Council resolutions.

In a phone call to the foreign ministers of Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria, Sayyala said that the memorandums of understanding between Libya and Turkey safeguard the national interest and signing them is not an infringement on the sovereignty of any country.

It is worth noting that the chairman of the Council of Representatives of Tobrug Aqila Saleh demanded in a letter to the Secretary-General of the United Nations to issue a resolution from the Security Council to withdraw the accreditation of the government of National Accord.
