Sawan: The signing of the “5 + 5” committee of the ceasefire agreement is an important step to stop the bloodshed of Libyans.

On Friday, the head of the Justice and Construction Party, Mohamed Sawan, welcomed the signing of the “5 + 5” committee members of the final ceasefire agreement, considering it an important step to stop bloodshed of Libyans.

On his personal Facebook page, Sawan said that he hopes to close the doors to military solutions and block the way to the continued presence of mercenaries and the interventions that threaten Libya’s wealth and lands.

Sawan stressed that this agreement is a fundamental pillar to push the success of the other tracks of dialogue, which must be quickly followed to achieve a comprehensive settlement, appreciating the role of all parties participating in the dialogue and the role of the UN mission in sponsoring it, and we call on the Security Council to ensure that the parties adhere to the agreement.

It is worth noting that on Friday, a ceasefire agreement was signed between the joint “5 + 5” joint military committee at the United Nations headquarters in Geneva.
