Saeed assures Asarraj of Tunisia’s support for the democratic path in Libya.

Tunisian President Qais Saied affirmed his country’s support for the democratic path in Libya and standing with all possibilities with the Libyan people.

Saeed added during his meeting with President of the Presidential Council, Fayez Asarraj, in Tunis on Tuesday, that Tunisia is directly affected by everything that is happening in Libya.

The meeting dealt with bilateral relations between the two countries and means of developing them, expressing their aspiration to restore momentum to the partnership between Tunisia and Libya, and to take practical steps to achieve that.

It is noteworthy that Tunisian President Qais Saeed confirmed last October, during a telephone conversation with President of the Presidential Council, Fayez Asarraj, his country’s support for international legitimacy in Libya.
