Qalin : Turkey has no intention of escalating in Libya.

Turkish presidential spokesman Ibrahim Qalan said that Turkey is not with the escalation of tension in Libya, and it has no plan or intention to confront any country if it is Egypt or France, but rather seeks to advance the political process in accordance with the Berlin outputs and the rules of the United Nations.

Qalin said, in an interview with the Turkish channel “NTV” on Sunday, that Haftar militias have been continuing for some time to send reinforcements to the military base in Aljufra and send mercenaries from Wagner and other UAE-funded military militias.

Qalin said that the United States no longer communicates with Haftar as before, and so does Russia, “after it disappointed that he had not attended a meeting on its soil ahead of the Berlin conference on Libya.”

The spokesman for the Turkish presidency added that Haftar is behind the breach of all agreements, headed by the Skhirat Agreement, and supported by Egypt, the Emirates, France and Russia, despite Russia and France’s statement that they do not support him directly, but we see the facts on the ground.

Qalin said that his country will continue to provide support for the reconciliation government within the framework of the security agreement between them, and will also support it in the right to defend itself.

It is worth mentioning that on June 20, Egyptian President Abdelfattah Alsisi announced that Sirte and Al-Jufra were a red line that would not be allowed to cross.
