Operation Dignity spokesperson call for Russian intervention in Libya

Operation Dignity spokesperson, Brigadier General Ahmed Al-Mismari called on Wednesday for Russia’s military intervention in Libya like the one in Syria.

The situation in Libya requires intervention by Russia and President Putin personally, Al-Mismari said in an interview with Russian news agency Sputnik.

Al-Mismari added, the Russian intervention succeeded in Syria, which is required in Libya, and the removal of what he described as foreign players like Turkey, Qatar and Italy, according to the Operation Dignity spokesperson.

Deaths from the conflict in Syria amounted to more than 400 thousand people since 2011.
