Turkish Foreign Minister Cavusoglu said that Germany’s participation in the “Irini” operation would make it lose its neutrality, and therefore, the Berlin conference would have no legitimacy anymore.

In statements reported by the Turkish Anadolu News Agency, on Thursday, Oglu added that the “Irini” operation is biased, and Germany’s participation in it made the situation in Libya “more complicated,” explaining that Germany is the country that hosted the Berlin International Conference on Libya, and therefore it must be neutral and objective. .

It is worth noting that the German capital, Berlin, hosted a conference on Libya in mid-January, which was called by German Chancellor Angela Merkel, and was attended by a number of world leaders and international organizations.
