On Monday, Turkish Foreign Minister Chawishoglu said that France had started to direct charges against Turkey. In retaliation for the losses of the coup leader Haftar, adding that with his successive defeats in the field began accusing Turkey in retaliation for its losses.

Oglu stressed, during a press conference held in the Turkish capital, Ankara, with the High Representative for Security and Foreign Policy of the European Union, Josep Borrell, that Paris provides all kinds of support to Haftar, calling on France to apologize to Turkey and to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO); For its false accusations, and for misleading them; Because of what he said were false accusations France had made over the harassment of a “Turkish frigate” of a French ship in the mediterranean.

It is worth noting that France has been accused of supporting Haftar for years, which was proven through its jet fighters that bombed sites in Libya, the fall of a French helicopter that killed three Frenchmen, and the escape of French experts from the Tunisian-Libyan border after defeating the militias of Haftar in Ghiryan, in addition to finding French weapons and missiles in Ghiryan.
