NOC ships first amount of Propane gas to Italy

The National Oil Corporation (NOC) announced on Wednesday, shipping the first amount of propane gas, estimated at 61.761 million barrels, from the port of Zuitina to Italy.

The organization said in a statement, this shipment is the first of its kind to Italy since the past four years ago, noting that the suspension of the gas plant at the port of Zuitina caused the suspension of propane gas to Italy.

Libya is one of the largest exporters of natural gas to Italy, through the Italian company Eni, which invests in Libya.
