“National Oil Corporation” calls for the expulsion of mercenary from Sidra port to lift the force majeure from it.

On Wednesday, the National Oil Corporation demanded that all foreign mercenaries and armed groups leave the Sidra oil port immediately.

In a statement published on its official page, the Corporation expressed its readiness to lift the status of force majeure on Sidra oil port and allow the tanker waiting in the port’s hook area to load the crude oil, calling on all local parties to support it and allow the tanker to enter.

The Corporation revealed that the financial losses due to the closure of the oil by the militias of Haftar exceeded by 6.5 billion dollars, stressing the need to resume production at the earliest time to stop the damage to the oil infrastructure, and protect vital assets from further deterioration and collapse.

It is worth noting that on January 17, loyalists of Haftar closed the fields and oil ports, claiming that there was no equitable distribution of wealth.
