Misurata Airport announces extension of maintenance to May 9

Misurata International Airport announced on Saturday the extension of scheduled maintenance work at the airport to next Wednesday, due to circumstances beyond the Airport’s control.

The Airport’s media office said on its official page, the air traffic would resume next Thursday, after the completion of the scheduled maintenance.

Last Sunday, Misurata International Airport announced that the air traffic at the airport had stopped to complete the maintenance work, which included the repair of the cracks in the landing strip and the lighting of the road between the lounges and the parking lot.
