The Libyan mission to the United Nations informed the Security Council of its rejection of what the representative of Egypt had mentioned regarding the Libyan-Turkish agreement, considering it an interference in the Libyan internal affairs.
The mission stressed, in a letter addressed to the President of the Security Council, that the agreement between Libya and Turkey does not contradict the Libyan political agreement, and does not need ratification by legislative bodies, noting that Libya has the right to conclude agreements and understandings with whoever it wants from the countries of the world in accordance with international law.
The mission stated that Egypt violated the Security Council resolution that prohibits dealing with parallel bodies by welcoming Hifter, as did the countries supporting them with weapons in its blatant aggression against Tripoli.
It is worth noting that Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Esisi hinted at direct intervention in Libya in one of his recent speeches, which was condemned by the Presidential Council and demanded that Egypt does not support the Hifter militia , which is turning against legitimacy.
