Italian National arrested that was wanted in Libya

On Friday, Italian security sources said that the Italian Interior Ministry’s Deterrent Force arrested an Italian businessman named Julio Loli.

The sources said according to the Italian agency Aki, that Loli “was wanted for justice in Libya for seven years, on charges of being linked to fraud in the sale of ships.”

According to the sources, the international arrest warrant acted upon by the prosecutor’s office of the Italian city of Rimin, included one charge for “extortion” and the other for “fraud and embezzlement.” They pointed out that the Tripoli prosecutor’s office did not inform the Italian embassy of the specific reasons for the arrest warrant.
