IOM confirmed the increase in number of migrant victims in Tajoura air raid

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) confirmed the increase in number of migrant victims as a result of the air raid on the Tajoura accommodation center, to 53 migrants, including 6 children.

The organization said in a statement Friday that at least 12 out of 130 injured migrants are in serious condition at the hospital, pointing out that the doctors of the Immigration Organization are in direct contact; to follow up these cases.

FAO teams continued to provide food and water to 350 migrants still at the Tajoura shelter, noting that the center housed more than 600 migrants from 17 different nationalities. On Tuesday, Hafar’s air force launched an air strike on the immigrant shelter in Tajoura, killing 44 migrants and injuring more than 80 others.
