Immigration Agency receives 85 migrants from the Eastern region

The Anti-illegal Immigration Agency in Tripoli received 85 illegal immigrants from the Eastern region branch in the cities of Al-Marj and Shhat.

The Agency’s media advisor, Milad Al-Saadi told ArraedLG on Saturday, the migrants, of Eritrean, Ethiopian, Sudanese and Chadian nationalities, including two children and five women, were transferred from Benghazi airport to Mitiga airport.”

Al-Saadi said he would contact their embassies to identify and register the migrants in preparation for their voluntary return.

Al-Saadi added that receiving these illegal immigrants is part of the work between all branches of the anti-illegal immigration agency in the country.

Last February, 123 illegal immigrants, from the Somalia and Eritrea, were deported to the Nigerian capital of Niamey as part of their resettlement program in Niger.
