Haweli: The speeches of the candidates for the executive authority some are good and others are considered “scandalous”.

Member of the Supreme Council of State and the Political Dialogue Committee, Abdul Qadir Haweli, said in a statement to Arraed, Thursday, that some of the speeches and electoral programs of the candidates for the executive authority were good and some were “scandalous.”

Haweli added that the number of candidates is large, while the lists will be only four, as the formation of the lists is a dilemma, because each list needs 8 votes from the West, 6 from the East and 3 from the South, and each list must be careful with whom it deals and with whom it is grouping.

Haweli confirmed that there will be no meeting in Thursday according to the agenda, while negotiations are underway to form lists, after all candidates failed to obtain 70% of the votes.

It is worth noting that the list system mechanism requires 63% of the votes from the first round to win.
