A member of the media office of the Red Crescent team, Ahmad Al-Alaiqi, confirmed the existence of five booby-trapped houses in #Sabratha from one of the parties involved in the conflict.
Al-Alaiqi said in a statement to Arraed LG on Sunday, that an extensive search of several areas in the city is still underway. He said that the delay in the operation was due to fear of the presence of booby traps inside the buildings. He added that 3000 families returned and about 1500 families were unable to return to their homes.
Al-Alaiqi warned of the occurrence of what he described as a health disaster at the
#Sabratha educational hospital and the blood bank, as they are suffering from a severe shortage of equipment.
He stated that many of the wounded inside the hospital are critical cases; issuing an appeal to the relevant authorities to provide assistance and to help resolve the issue.
