#Government #Libya #News – Justice and Construction Party condemns the continued siege on #Derna

The Justice and Construction Party condemned the continued siege imposed on the city of #Derna, expressing concern at the tragic human suffering of those in the city.
In a statement on Tuesday,  the Justice and Construction Party described the siege imposed on the city as a “systematic killing” of its residents, placing responsibility on illegitimate forces external to the government for the consequences of the “tragic” siege and demanding that they lift the siege and protect civilians from political differences.
In its statement, the party called on the Presidential Council to take all measures to lift the siege on the city and provide the city’s residents with their basic needs. They also called on the United Nations to immediately intervene and exert all necessary pressure to end the siege.
