The Egyptian Passport, Immigration and Nationality Administration issued a statement on Saturday exempting Libyan nationals under the age of 18 and over the age of 45 from requiring a visa to enter Egyptian territory.
The Egyptian authorities had previously imposed a visa on Libyan citizens between the ages of 18 and 50 years.
