On Saturday, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in the National Accord Government, Dr. Ali Al-Zanati, requested resignation from his post.
In his resignation request to the President of the presidential council, Fayez Al-Sarraj, Al-Zanati apologized for resigning, and stated that it is due to the fact that he was unable to do his duty and to help patients with tumors and the wounded. Al-Zanati added that the Government of National Accord has not kept its promises to provide the medical aid for the past 3 months.
