Flying ambulance authority receives a new plane from the USA.

The Libyan Flying Ambulance Service has received a new “Cessna Citation 680 Latitude” ambulance as part of strengthening joint bilateral cooperation with the United States of America.

The Foreign Media Department stated – according to its official page – Monday, that this cooperation will be strengthened by the purchase of three helicopters early next year, and the building of a maintenance center for them at Maitiqa International Airport, which will be the first of its kind in Africa, and will be ready at the end of April of next year.

In the same context, the director general of the agency, Fathi bin Naji, stressed the importance of this step, pointing to the end of the training of one of the flying ambulance crews.

It is worth noting that the model of this aircraft is the third of its kind in the Libyan Flying Ambulance fleet.
