First meeting between new HCS president and head of PC

The president of the High Council of State (HCS) Khalid Al-Mashri and the head of the Presidential Council (PC), Fayez Al-Serraj affirmed their agreement to achieve national consensus and unify the state’s sovereign institutions, stressing respect for the democratic path to holding elections on a solid constitutional basis.

During his meeting with Al-Seraj in Tripoli on Tuesday, Al-Mashri discussed the economic aspects and improving the living conditions of Libyans, the hurdles facing the public service facilities and coordination mechanisms between the HCS and the PC.

This the first meeting between Khalid Al-Mashri and Faiz Al-Seraj, since the first was elected as president of the High Council of the State.
