Ethiopia: The Nile is ours and Egypt’s speech is misleading.

The Ethiopian News Agency, “ENA”, announced the launch of an electronic campaign under the slogan “The Nile for Ethiopia”.

The agency said that Ethiopians all over the world launched this campaign. With the aim of affirming Ethiopia’s right to build the Dam, and to address what it described as “deceptive speech” of Egypt.

For his part, the Ethiopian Foreign Minister, Guido Andargachio, wrote a tweet on his Twitter account in Amharic, expressing his happiness that his country had completed the first stage of filling the Al Nahda Dam.

“Previously the Nile was flowing, and now it is in a lake, from which Ethiopia will obtain its desired development,” Gashiu said in his tweet, concluding it by saying, “In fact, the Nile is ours.”
