Turkish President Rejep Tayyip Erdogan and President of the Presidential Council, Fayez asarraj, discussed on Sunday, the executive program of the memorandums of understanding signed between the two countries and the mechanisms for activating them.
Erdogan, while welcoming Asarraj at the presidential palace in Istanbul, reiterated his country’s readiness to send forces to Libya if the legitimate national reconciliation government requested it.
On the other hand, Asarraj expressed his appreciation for Turkey’s position rejecting the aggression against Tripoli, and its desire to restore stability to Libya.
It is worth noting that Turkish President Rejep Tayyip Erdogan and President of the GNA, Fayez asarraj, signed on November 27 in Istanbul two memorandums of understanding between the two countries in the maritime and security fields.
