On Friday, associations in several countries boycotted French products and completely withdrew them from their exhibitions and markets, in a protest campaign against insulting the Islamic religion and the Messenger. Several people around the world launched hashtags that included “Except the Messenger of God, boycotting French products, Macron offends the Prophet” and other hashtags.

In the same context, Qatar University has postponed the French Cultural Week event indefinitely, following the insult to the Messenger and publishing insulting pictures of the Prophet, Kuwait condemns the systematic attack on Muslims’ sentiments by insulting religious symbols.

For its part, Jordan considered that the publication of the cartoons insulting to the Messenger constitutes a clear targeting of religious beliefs and sanctities, an offense to the feelings of nearly 2 billion Muslims, and a flagrant violation of the principles of respect for others and their beliefs.

The French President “Emmanuel Macron” said last Wednesday that France will not abandon the cartoons that offend the Prophet Mohammed and Islam, according to him.
