Chinese Ambassador to the UN: Foreign interference has exacerbated the crisis in Libya and there is no military solution.

The Chinese ambassador to the UN, Zhang Jun, said during his meeting with the Libyan delegate to the UN, Al-Taher Al-Sunni, that negative interventions in Libya have caused the crisis, stressing his country’s intention to support stability and political solutions and that there is no military solution to the Libyan crisis.

On his part, Al-Suni briefed the Chinese ambassador on Wednesday the latest repercussions of Hifter’s aggression and his militias on Tripoli and its suburbs, as well as the continuous violations committed despite the international efforts to calm down.

It is worth noting that the Assistant of the Chinese Foreign Minister Chen Xiaodong confirmed early February that the government of his country considers the reconciliation government to be the only legitimate government in Libya, and that there will be no cooperation with any parallel institutions.
