Bashagha appreciates the efforts of the mission and the neighboring countries to end the Libyan crisis.

The Minister of the Interior, Fathi Bashagha, appreciated the efforts of the United Nations Mission in Libya and the “distinguished” efforts of the head of the mission, Stephanie Williams, in bringing the parties together and ending the political crisis in Libya.

On Sunday, Bashagha confirmed – in a tweet on his official account , that the Ministry of the Interior would be fully utilized for the success of any endeavor to stop the bloodshed , restoring security and political stability and supporting comprehensive peace in the country.

Bashagha said that the positive behavior of Libya’s neighboring countries and all the countries that sponsor peace in the country have a lasting effect on the progress of the dialogue talks and the return of hope to end the crisis, and the transition from the stage of military adventures to the stage of political settlement.

It is worth noting that the UN mission in Libya announced, last Saturday, the resumption of the comprehensive Libyan-Libyan talks in Tunis early next November.
