Bashaga said that what Brigadier Naji Zoubi was exposed to is considered a crime and slander, stressing that Naji will wear a medal of honor in exchange for his work and efforts that were referred to the attorney general’s Office during 2019, indicating that everyone who has an accusation against police officers should direct it to the attorney general’s Office.

Bashaga explained that since the Hifter aggression, employees of the Interior Ministry have been able to secure the interior front, given its importance. If this front collapsed, the exterior Front could not stand up to Hifter, indicating that in 2019 the Tripoli Security Directorate was able to deal with 710 criminal cases, 5310 offenses and 148 irregularities 162.

The Minister of the Interior stated that there are police officers who cooperated with the commanders of the axes in a very big way by protecting the back lines and all the axes leaders know them well. They cooperated with them, day and night, in ensuring security and arresting criminals.

And Bashaga called on the youth who are unaware of what they are doing, in the militias “the Nawasi militia and some of the so-called central support force who their commanders give orders to arrest and kidnap not to do so, because measures will be taken against them.

Fathi Bashaga stressed that Libya is exposed to three dangers, namely terrorism and the return to the dictatorship and the so-called “militias.

It is worth noting that some leaders of the armed brigades attacked Colonel Naji Zoubi, and arrested him without an arrest warrant from the Ministry of Interior.
