The President of the Presidential Council, Fayez Asarraj, discussed with the President of the Supreme Council of the State Khaled Almishri, ways to combat the pandemic of the emerging Corona virus, and the measures taken to limit and prevent its spread in Libya.
On Monday, Asarraj discussed with Almishri ways of bringing Libyans stranded abroad to ensure their safety and that of society.
The two parties discussed the developments of military operations to repel the aggression on the capital, Tripoli, and its suburbs, and the surrounding of the city of Sirte, and to provide full support for the army and the supporting forces to defeat and end this aggression.
It is worth noting that the President of the Presidential Council, Fayez Asarraj, chaired on Sunday a meeting to discuss the details and mechanisms for implementing the measures and measures taken in the health sector and all other sectors in the country to confront the risks and repercussions of the new Corona epidemic “Covid-19”.
