Aqeela Saleh: War is an evil that no one wants, and we call on Italy to help us reach a ceasefire and spare oil facilities from destruction.

The Speaker of the Parliament of Tobruk Aqeela Saleh demanded the support of the Italian authorities; In order to solve the crisis in Libya, and to establish a cease-fire.

Saleh stressed, in an interview with the group “Adnkronos”, on Monday, the demand for a cease-fire so that “Libya is not the scene of military operations, and harms Libyan oil and vital installations.”

Saleh warned that failure to abide by the ceasefire would lead to a “grinding war,” saying, “War is an evil that no one wants.”

It is reported that the Speaker of the Parliament of Tobruk, Aqeela Saleh, visited Italy, on Monday, to discuss developments in the situation in Libya and his initiative to end the Libyan crisis.
