Alosta: We provided official reports and statistics for Hifter’s violations to members of the US Congress.

Member of the House of Representatives Khaled Alosta said that the delegation of representatives who visited Washington informed members of the American Congress of the repercussions of the aggression against Tripoli, violations of the Hifter militias, and the numbers of the displaced people and their suffering as a result of the aggression.

Alosta added, in press statements, on Saturday, that they provided the American side with official reports, reports from field medicine and video clips proving the violations committed by Hifter militias during their aggression against the capital.

Alosta said that the delegation of representatives discussed with American officials ways to activate the leadership role of the United States in solving the Libyan crisis, including the dossiers to shut down oil and combat terrorism.

Alosta stated that during their meeting with the US State Department, they will put forward their position on the cease-fire and the political track, and they will stress that the aggressor must return to where he came from, adding that they will hold other meetings with American decision-making centers, then a meeting with the United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and members of the Security Council.

Alosta indicated that a number of members of Congress confirmed their support for the Libyan stability law proposal that will be presented at the end of February after the amendments were made.

It is worth mentioning that the delegation of the House of Representatives is headed by Deputy Khaled Alosta, and includes Jalal Alshwaihdi, Vice-Chairman of the Foreign Committee, Rabiaa Aburas, Vice-Chairman of the Committee for Public Liberties and Human Rights, Rahma Boubaker, Deputy-Rapporteur, and Naim Alghiryani and Ali Abuzakouk, members of the Foreign Committee.
