Head of the Supreme Council of State Khaled almishri said on Thursday that Hifter does not abide by the agreements, and there are no guarantees that he will comply with the results of the Berlin Conference, and that the reconciliation government is determined to defeat its aggression.
Almishri added, in an interview with Anadolu Agency, that they did not expect much from the Berlin conference, and so far there is no clear mechanism that provides guarantees to implement what we agree upon, in the absence of the necessary guarantees, stressing that their only guarantee is “to provide the necessary strength to protect ourselves”
Almishri confirmed that Hifter’s militants breached the truce in several axes, and the army forces respond to this breach, and if this continues, it will switch from defense to attack to end the war.
It is worth noting that Hifter militias bombed, on Wednesday, the Maitiqa airport, with six Grad rockets, which forced the airport to suspend flights until further notice.
