Al-Sunni: We have solid evidence of the UAE’s involvement in Haftar’s support.

Libya’s delegate to the United Nations, Taher Al-Sunni, confirmed that the reconciliation government has compelling evidence and is consistent with previous reports on the UAE’s involvement in sending weapons and military equipment to Haftar.

Al-Sunni, in a speech to the Security Council on Tuesday, said that the only difference between all UN and international reports and the minutes of the sessions of this council is the increase in the number, diversity and ugliness of the victims and violations, and the common denominator between them is the vocabulary of condemnation and denunciation, and calling on all parties alike to stop the fighting without ever naming the culprits.

Al-Sunni considered any international operation carried out without coordination with the Libyan government as an illegal operation, and not based on the relevant Security Council resolutions, stressing the rejection of the European Union process “IRINI” in its current form; Because the union did not consult with the GNA on it, and was contented to notify it as a matter of fact contrary to what happened previously in the Sofia operation.

Libya’s delegate to the United Nations called on the United Nations Security Council to form a committee to take steps to stop the actions taken by some countries against Libya, calling on countries that have mercenaries in Libya to withdraw them and hold who recruited them accountable.

In his speech, Al-Sunni added that dialogue and stopping the bloodshed is the way out of the crisis, but that for those who want a peaceful solution, he reiterated the GNA’s categorical refusal to sit with those who had blood on their hands in Libya.

It is worth noting that the Libyan army forces captured, on Monday, several weapons while liberating the Alwittia base, some of which belonged to the Emirates, such as the Russian air defense system “Pantsir” and Chinese-made Hauser shells.
